From April 21 to 23, affected by the pandemic, the 2nd International Conference on New Energy, Energy Storage and Power Engineering (NESP 2023) was successfully held online. The conference received joint support from Murdoch University in Australia, Tunku Abdul Rahman University in Malaysia, and others, and garnered a strong response.


At 9:00 AM on April 22, the conference officially began, chaired by Professor Xiao Dongliang from South China University of Technology. In addition, the conference invited Professor Chong Kok-Keong from Tunku Abdul Rahman University in Malaysia, Professor Pierluigi Siano from the University of Salerno in Italy, Associate Professor Farhad Shahnia from Murdoch University in Australia, Professor Li Wei from Zhejiang University, Professor Tang Guihua and Professor Zhang Yingjia from Xi'an Jiaotong University, as well as Associate Professor Qin Boyu to deliver keynote reports on their recent research, contributing their outstanding presentations to the conference.
Meanwhile, nearly 30 authors delivered oral presentations or poster displays online and offline on 30 topics, including comprehensive analysis of power demand and markets, grid frequency regulation, design and technical analysis systems for power engineering inspection and alarm devices, research on operation control strategies for optical storage and DC microgrids, and flexible interval assessment methods for new power distribution systems, all of which were highly engaging and diverse.
